    Ethics Test

This test only has one question, but it's a very important one. Try giving an honest answer. You will discover where you stand morally.

The test features an unlikely, completely fictional situation in which you will have to make a decision. Remember that your answer needs to be honest, yet spontaneous.

Please scroll down slowly and consider each line.

    You are in Miami.

There is chaos all around you caused by a hurricane with severe flooding. This is a flood of biblical proportions.

You are a photojournalist working for a major newspaper. You're caught in the middle of this great disaster. The situation is nearly hopeless. You're trying to make a career out of shooting photos.

There are houses and people swirling around you. Some are even disappearing under the water. Nature is showing all of its destructive fury.

You see a man in the water. He is fighting for his life, trying not to be taken away with the debris. You move closer, somehow the man looks familiar. Suddenly you know who it is . . It's George W. Bush!

At the same time you notice that the raging waters are about to take him under, forever.

You have two options: You can save his life or you can take the most dramatic photos of your life.

So, you can save the life of George W. Bush or you can shoot a Pulitzer Prize winning photo, documenting the death of one of the world's most powerful men.

Here's the question and please give an honest answer:

Would you select color film or would you rather go with the classic simplicity of black and white?

    Milwaukee!

    Hi all,

I'm alive and well and Milwaukee is great so far.  It's very pretty, with the lake and river and whatnot, and the theatre itself is pretttttty amazing.  All the other interns and people I've met so far are extremely nice and cool, and the place I'm staying is really nice as well.  It's a bit like being a freshman again with meeting all the new people and getting used to all the new places, and especially since all the interns are living in the same apartment/hotel building, so I can go downstairs or down the hall and see other interns any time day or night.  I'll send out a mass e-mail in a few days with all the good how-to-reach-me info, but in the meantime you can always do the whole cell phone thang.  Hmm, what else?  Well, I started "work" yesterday, although so far it has mostly consisted or orientation-type stuff with the other interns.  The other SM intern, Melissa, and I have also started working specifically with our department to prepare for the season's shows (16 in total!).  I'm working on 6 of those 16 throughout my stay here, the first one being the first show of the season, A Flea in her Ear.  So I've started attending mini-production meetings for that show, and have been doing general prepare-for-the-first-day-of-rehearsal stuff (rehearsals starts Monday).  Until Labor Day I have Sundays off, then after that it's every Monday that I have off.  I hope to lose a few pounds with all the walking I've been doing, which will continue through my stay here since the car is backin PA with Mom! But it seems like anything I need is in walking distance anyway.  And the money situation seems okay so far, since I made so much more money than usual this summer, and it seems like the theatre people try to feed us poor interns as often as possible.  Yay for that!  And, APPARENTLY, we can get food stamps.  No, really.  We interns are poor enough that we can get FOOD STAMPS.  How crazy is that?  I'm proud of that fact rather than embarrassed by it ;)   Anyway, my internet now works, so say hi to my away message, await my e-mail, leave me voice messages, and I'll tty soon!

    nice...

    ...and probably incorrect.

You scored as Albus Dumbledore. Strong and powerful you admirably defend your world and your charges against those who would seek to harm them. However sometimes you can fail to do what you must because you care too much to cause suffering.

    Albus Dumbledore 80%

    Ron Weasley 70%

    Hermione Granger 70%

    Remus Lupin 70%

    Ginny Weasley 65%

    Sirius Black 65%

    Draco Malfoy 55%

    Severus Snape 50%

    Harry Potter 45%

    Lord Voldemort 25%

    I hate packing...

Also, I often visit Snopes.com to find out if an e-mai lforward I've gotten is true or not (it has listings of urban legends and whatnot).  So, anyway, I was at the site and was amused by this list of questions they had no answers for.

    LOL

http://www.winterson.com.nyud.net:8090/2005/06/episode-iii-backstroke-of-west.html  I love it when captions are all screwy.  I didn't cry at this like I did at the bad FOTR captions way back when (where can I find those again?), but still, I laughed so hard it hurt a little.  My favorite:  Jedi Knight = Presbyterian Church.

I'm too lazy to do a real update.  Suffice it to say, my job is exhausting, I work overtime constantly, and I leave for Milwaukee in two weeks as of tomorrow.  Whoa.

In other news, I'm now temping at CareersUSA for the remainder of the summer.  Which means I'll be working 9-5 most days, being all secretarial or data entry-al or whatever, haha.  I start Thursday.  Yay money!

    Dear New Jersey drivers,

You really have no reason to complain about the driving of Pennsylvanians!

    Yeah, that's what I thought.
